“People may or may not know this but I am an avid blader. Rollerblader. I found this postcard of the Empire Roller Disco in Palm Desert at the Rose Bowl Flea Market in LA. It peaked my interest in two ways - one, does this place still exist?! Two, that neon sign is incredible.

Unfortunately it’s no more...and the sign is nowhere to be found. So it only seemed appropriate to resurrect an American icon. An homage if you will, for my interiors project for a co-working space in South Bay where people are building their own empires every damn day.”
